This project participated in National level Science Exhibition 2009-10frequency of carrier signal follows changes in voltage level (amplitude) of modulating signal
The bandwidth of an FM signal is given by:
BFM = 2(Äf +B)
Äf is the frequency deviation (how much the carrier deviates from the carrier frequency)
B is the bandwidth of the modulating signal (message)
So, the bandwidth required of an FM signal is
at least twice the bandwidth of the message.
